Dear Friends and Fellow Blues Enthusiasts,

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. I have been honored with the opportunity to host the Son House Blues Night at the renowned Record Archive in Rochester, New York. This event holds a special place in the hearts of many, and I am deeply grateful to be a part of it.

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the previous hosts who have nurtured this event into what it is today. Gordon Munding, a stalwart of the Rochester blues scene, laid the foundation with his passion and dedication. Following him, Genesee Johnny brought his unique flair and deep respect for the blues tradition, enriching the experience for all attendees. Their contributions have been invaluable, and I am humbled to follow in their footsteps.

I'll be joined by an exceptional group of musicians who form the Son House Blues Night House Band:

• Rob Huff on drums: Rob's dynamic drumming and deep groove lay the foundation for our blues explorations. His versatility and passion for the genre make him an invaluable part of our ensemble.
• Dan Lopata on bass: Dan's solid bass lines and rhythmic precision provide the heartbeat of our performances. His dedication to the craft ensures that every note resonates with authenticity.
• Jon Tucker on keyboards: John's soulful keyboard playing adds depth and texture to our sound. His ability to weave intricate melodies brings a unique flavor to our blues interpretations.

Their talent and camaraderie elevate our performances, and I am so honored to share the stage with them.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the owners of the Record Archive, Richard Storms and Alayna Alderman, for entrusting me with this role. Their unwavering support for live music and the blues community has made the Record Archive a cultural hub in Rochester. It's an honor to collaborate with such passionate advocates for the arts.
